Another personal project for Bertie, this is a deep retrofit of a 1940s maisonette to near-Passivhaus EnerPHit performance. It is being used as a pilot for combining internal wall insulation, an air source heat pump, airtight fabric upgrades, and heat recovery ventilation. Comfort and energy demand are being monitored, and the lessons learned will feed back into our practice.
