Old Ford Waterworks, Olympic Park
Project Value: ~£TBA
Current Workstage: RIBA 3
Air Permeability targeted: 2m3/m2/hr@50Pa
The wastewater treatment plant built adjacent to London Stadium for the 2012 Olympics has been decommissioned. It will now be retrofitted to provide office, welfare, storage, and service yard facilities for the Queen Elizabeth Park management teams.
The LLDC has commissioned IOE to provide MEP, sustainability, and embodied carbon analysis for this nuanced and ambitious scheme. Our approach is to deliver beyond the ambition at the best value by synergising those three strands: building services, building physics, and embodied carbon analysis.
